Kids Ministry at Living Christ Church
At Living Christ Church our kids (infant through 5th grade) experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.
Your First Visit
Here's what to expect when visiting Living Christ Kids for the first time:
Everyone joins the big church at the beginning of the service for worship. During the announcement time, kids are dismissed to Children's Church. Check in with one of the Children's ministry volunteers, who will meet you in the foyer. Follow them down to our children's ministry rooms and get them checked in.
Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for the following personal information (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone):
- Parent/guardian name(s)
- Child's name
- Child's birthdate
- Home address
- Phone number
- Any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for your children
You can register now if you would like by clicking the button below:
Children's Church:
Everyone starts the service in the big church service: During the announcements portion of the service, our children are dismissed, and meet our Children's Ministry volunteers in the foyer. Our team will lead the kids downstairs to the children's ministry room.
At the end of the Service: Our volunteers will bring the children back upstairs at the end of the service and your children will meet you in the foyer.
Currently some Sundays we don't have children's church. On those Sundays, children remain in the big church with their families. we supply crayons and colored pencils for you if you would like and each pew has sketch pads and notebooks to write in. Don't worry if your kids make noise during the service, we see it as a reminder of life and we love it.
Safe Place:
All our children's ministry volunteers are SafePlace certified and have been background checked.
Other Activities:
Trunk or Treat: Every October we have a community wide Trunk or Treat in our parking lot.
Easter Egg Hunt: The Saturday before Easter we have a community wide Easter Egg Hunt.
Family Fun Time: Throughout the year our Children's Ministry team does other activities we call, Family Fun Time. They include: hiking, picnics, movie nights, game nights, etc.
Meet Our Kids Director:
Heather Shields has been a co-director of our children's ministry for a few years and recently came on staff as our sole Children's Director on a part-time basis. She is a full-time teacher in our local school district.
